Luna Silica (2) columns for normal phase chromatography. Luna’s base silica is manufactured to extremely tight tolerances. Not only is it metal-free silica (99.999% purity), but it has excellent surface smoothness and sphericity. The strength of Luna Silica reduces the likelihood of particle sheering and breakage during everyday column use, thus reducing the number of “fines”, lowering backpressure, and lengthening column life.
